OCAA Cancelled All Varsity Sports For Fall 2020

(Sault Ste. Marie, ON June 9, 2020)

91桃色短视频 regrets to announce that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Ontario Collegiate Athletics Association has cancelled all fall varsity sports.

Varsity sports affected by the suspension of the 2020 fall semester varsity schedule include: soccer, golf, and cross-country running.
This decision was made due to many factors, including: various regions of the province may be in different stages of opening; institutions have different openings planned which include hybrid academic delivery in some instances which may impact the team鈥檚 ability to have a sufficient number of players.

OCAA will monitor the situation and make a decision in the fall about the varsity schedule planned for the 2021 winter semester, starting in January. For the 2021 winter semester, basketball, volleyball, badminton, curling and indoor soccer would have a reduced schedule.
Men鈥檚 and Women鈥檚 hockey fall under the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and OCAA鈥檚 decision does not impact those programs. The College is currently monitoring the situation and a decision on these seasons has not been made.
